Mark Novotny , Manager, Global Marketing, Nordson Corporation
"Two-Piece Inside Spray Technology: Putting the Pieces Together"

Changes in technology in recent years have allowed two-piece can makers to reduce inside spray coating weights by 15% or more. Advances in electronic controls, application equipment, and monitoring devices, have allowed manufacturers to better control the inside spray process and squeeze more and more costs out of this process. But the key to effective control of the process has been to use the individual components of the process in synergy, such that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. It’s just a matter of putting the pieces together…

Mark Novotny has over 25 years in the can and container manufacturing equipment business, with considerable experience in sales and marketing management, product development, and field service. He is Manager, Global Marketing for Nordson Corporation’s Container Business organization. Nordson manufactures equipment used in the metal can industry for coating, curing, and process control and monitoring.
